- Get down to Dirty Denim this December at La Trobe University Visual Arts Centre. The sustainable fashion and textiles exhibition features the artwork of local creative duo Tamara Marwood and Verity Lougoon. Visitors can expect to see an array of items from patchworks, to bags - even paper made entirely from discarded denim jeans. Dirty Denim is well worth a peep.
- Hand Crafted Landscape at Ararat Regional Art Gallery May & June 2009
- Stitched on horse hair, paper and found fabrics, Hand Crafted Landscape is a patchwork of rural romances. Opening Saturday 23 May 3pm until the 23 of June 2009

- The (free) Dirty Denim workshop
- Get yourself into dirty denim with local sustainable textile and stitching artists Tamara Marwood and Verity Lougoon. Spend a filthy morning reinventing denim into practical bags using screen printing, stitch and patchwork. Set up in a studio environment, participants will have the opportunity to learn new sustainable textile skills. This workshop is free - Numbers are limited and booking is essential.
