My baby is learning to wave. He raises his arm and shakes his little wrist from right to left and fingers up and down. He does it whenever he pleases. He likes to wave to whatever, although I am sure he knows that he is waving.

I join in too, telling him ta ta, ta ta, just like all the other mums that you know and see out and about! ta ta, ta ta.

Sometimes I feel like I live on another planet. I found out today just in a "passing by' small town hello that there was a major international artist run space conference in Canada - I had no idea! I feel like a real dill blowing in the breeze sometimes - I am trying to organise something similiar to this in a month or two;it is amazing how a couple of kms can put you out of the picture and to have true peers you must be seen and in their picture - at openings/talks and other events - I think importantly involved with a university for a severe period of time.

A thought I had is perhaps I spend too much time trying to get people together and moving - rather than moving myself to higher places. A thought I had also is that I am pretty happy with the place I am in - especially when I had a close call in the van on the way home from work - I felt the impact of the car on the right hand side of my body - there wouldn't have been much of my body left or my life I would think.
