Got the call today from the woman who is facilitating the panel talk I am going to Cairns to speak at - it is only for an hour talk! This surprised me as I am travelling all that distance to participate in a talk that goes for 1 hour that involves four other people and question time! I need at least an hour to talk about myself and my philosphies

She is happy with what I want to talk about - I am thinking about talking about what I do as an arts worker and how I developed my career - opening an artist run space; building curatorial projects; getting into facilitating community arts project and perhaps do a slide show accompanying this historical run through.

I would like to talk about my work ethic (ie how you feel about something determines how well you do something!) and also how your health and what sort of relationship supports you build around yourself to sustain your practice as an artist and arts worker - especially when you are working and living on a shoe string.

My brain is not working well and can't elaborate on this any further - other exhiting stuff that has happened today includes feeding Kadel for the first time on a bottle with my expressed milk - this was a joyful experience for Jase and a bit woful for me - I can't beleive how different I feel about things after I have a baby - I don't like feeding him other than by my boob!
