Crickey it is nearly 9am - I promised myself an early night tonight!

I had a lovely day today with a bit of a sleep in- bubby was up every 2 hours wanting a feed, by about 6.50am I was really sick of sitting up and feeding him - just want to be left in a deep, dark, warm sleep.

I went and visited a friend who is a painter and checked out her new home - she has set up the kitchen and living area and a studio in a shed and sleeps in a cute 1940s caravan - it is a great little set up and great to see her work in progress. She is doing a lot of work about Ned Kelly and the masks that we wear.

Have enjoyed talking to various artists this week - I have found sharing my ideas and also my work really valuable to sort out what it is I really want to do and how I will do it. I shared with her my ideas for the arts festival coming up in my local community and she gave me some really helpful insights - just providing different angles to look at things and even different words to say things with -

I am interested in iniviting all different artists into my community to create landscape "myths" about this place - she called them phemeomnia (pardon spelling!) and talked about a trend project that she wanted to do - to start a "tend" and see how it takes off in our community! That then triggered a story I once heard of someone in a really small town who started a rumour and waited to see how long it look to get around his friends and back to him!

Word of mouth I guess - look out more brain storming - isn't it amazing what happens when you share. I am off to bed and share some boobie with baby!
